Motor

My buddy has a Suzuki DT200 EFI. 450 hours.Think its a 2001 or 2002. He wants $2500 but may be negotiable. In central Pa.

I had the DT225 on my last boat. Great motor and lighter than most other two strokes in that HP.

200 as in two hundred........not 150 as in one hundred and fifty.

That was a real nice looking 150 OX66 for sale.......but I already have a 150....looking for 200. Boat's rated for up to 200 so bigger won't work.
Thanks

By the way, did you say 250 ?

Bigshrimpin 04-12-2013 07:50 AM

Bgreene - There's not much difference b/w 150 and 200 2.6L yamaha's. Maybe 3 or 4 MPH on the top end.

hugo 04-12-2013 05:12 PM

those 200,s are realy hard to find! like a rabbit in the woods. i will sell mine for enough to buy that 150 yamaha ;) have a 1994 2.5 mercury XRI carb and premix converted. 2002 quick silver power head reman. runs tits but loves gas!

hugo I don't see scuppers do have the scuppers that go straight down?

hugo 04-13-2013 11:34 PM

no scuppers at all, floor drains to bilge and 2 pumps handle the water removal. my boat never stays unattended in a slip so i wasent worried about self bailing.

Good point - that won't do it for me. Looking for an Evinrude Bombardier DFI 2002- 2005
or etec HO. Opti might work too but ideally the Evinrude.

3.3 liter blocks to push !!

McGillicuddy 04-17-2013 10:49 PM

bgreene,
Did you end up with a Tsunami/Sceptre or another boat?

Old'sCool 04-19-2013 07:36 AM

No affiliation here but looks like a decent deal on one of Yammis best
