77SceptreOB 04-23-2013 03:54 PM

WOW!! Utterly stunning! Great work...

flyingfrizzle 04-23-2013 04:06 PM

Nice project, Are those twin 70's johnsons from around the late 80's-early 90's??? and if so what kind of proformance numbers do you get with those??? Love the wood helm, boat looks good I like the how it turn out. Dont see many twins on the 20' moddels but I think many came from the dealer like this back in the early 70's.

jfc6866 04-23-2013 04:20 PM

the engines are Yamaha 90TLR's,with bay mfg 5" extenders to make them 25". the boat trimmed out does 30kts (34mph). I decided early on in the project to put twins because I am planning to tow the boat to the islands and wanted the redundancy but you sacrifice performance. It will plane and hit 22kts on one engine with the other trimmed out.

PigSticker 04-23-2013 05:11 PM

Dang you did some work there, nice job!

NoBones 04-23-2013 06:46 PM

Here's the boat I will tow it with, a Viking 1992, 50.

castalot 04-24-2013 02:31 PM

Wow

Trayder 04-24-2013 03:59 PM

Speechless...unreal!

Caymanboy 04-24-2013 05:05 PM

Ummm, question for you.
If you are towing with that Viking, what part of the SeaCraft are you hooking up too?
I don't see a towbit.
OP

Mikem8560 04-24-2013 06:42 PM

Great work. The helm is real classy looking and the helm chair is unsusal. Is the the sunbrella sling fabric used on the upholstery? Id like to see a better pic of the wood on the bow.

BigLew 04-24-2013 07:51 PM

Which is towing which, did you say? I mean, this is Classic Seacraft, not....! :)

Do you want to adopt me?
That is an awesome sportfisher.

BigLew 04-25-2013 07:40 AM

Sorry. I thought I read, "Here's the boat I will tow with it, a '92 Viking '50."

(I was just having a little fun.) :<)

That's a terrific combo any way you look at it!

bigeasy1 04-25-2013 11:34 AM

Wow,what a sweet rig. Incredible workmanship she's a beauty. X3 on the Gucci meter.I love the seats, and I'll ask the same question as Mike,is that sunbrella fabric on the seats?

jfc6866 04-25-2013 04:04 PM

Yes the seats are sunbrella and you have to be careful with stains, I put 303 on them and it helps a little but I still managed to get grease on that won't come off.

jfc6866 04-25-2013 04:08 PM

Also, in answer to one of the questions above on towing I have a local welder making a bit for the front which goes down below the eye in the bow.

Ok, looks like you have that covered.
Anyway, don't bust that purdy thing up towing her at 20+ knts across the gulf stream and banks.

ct9amr 04-25-2013 08:44 PM

Are those are lights built into the hardtop, if so that is the bee's knee's.

Mark 04-26-2013 10:32 AM

Well that certainly sets a new bar for the 20' model! Very impressive to say the least.

Water Rat 04-26-2013 12:45 PM

I am speechless. Congratulations on setting the bar to a level us mortals will likely never achieve.

jfc6866 04-26-2013 02:25 PM

the lights are built into the hardtop, I took a piece of clear plexiglass 1" thick x about 6" long and cut it to the corners and the center of the back and put a led light strip in behind on an angle, painted the back sides/top and bottom just leaving the front clear and siliconed the led strip lights to the back. It doesnt meet coast guard code but I don't think anyone will notice

jfc6866 04-26-2013 02:45 PM

Thanks again to everyone for the compliments, It nice to know that people appreciate it.

Beaver 04-27-2013 11:37 AM

That's it...Im not posting any pictures of my boat. Beautiful 69.

CaptLloyd 04-27-2013 04:26 PM

That is one classy boat! Incredible!

ScottM 04-28-2013 07:31 AM

jfc6866 04-29-2013 10:51 AM
