Snookerd 06-27-2013 10:12 PM

Sounds good....

cdavisdb 06-28-2013 02:40 PM

gofastsandman 06-28-2013 07:49 PM

He had a hall pass. A very long hall pass.

cdavisdb 06-28-2013 09:05 PM

Where else could I find crazies that appreciate my boat, and get a chance to appreciate theirs?

Lets try for 6-8 ft. this year and I promise to put my tabs down and go slower.

DonV 06-28-2013 09:21 PM

Show off!!!! :)

gofastsandman 06-28-2013 09:32 PM

Awesome! I was the mate who bounced with a large smile. I was on a nice Todd chair.
Sick performance. I was concerned for my pegs and she just made me laugh out loud.
Friggin` awesome. I`ll ask a young female for some photo love.

Bones chased me and I know he could have smoked me. Even 20`s will get you home.
I pushed my slacker harder than I ever had. She woke up and asked me why I had a stupid cheap azz teleflex feedback set up.

Cheers,
DeSoto

Snookerd 06-28-2013 11:09 PM

No Bones-Promises, promises! I'll be there for this one. I want to see all these great boats!

Mikem8560 06-28-2013 11:47 PM

id be up for southwest not having a trailer
fall my work ramps up
cayo costo ?

cdavisdb 06-29-2013 08:05 AM

How about try to coordinate with kingfish season?

Blue_Heron 06-29-2013 09:24 AM

I'll throw in another vote for Fort Desoto. I've never been there, but the location is attractive.

Another possibility for the date would be the weekend of November 9th. Veterans Day is the following Monday, so it's a long weekend for some.
Dave

DonV 06-29-2013 05:42 PM

Fort Desoto is good!!

cdavisdb 06-29-2013 06:37 PM

Nov 9th is about the latest for me. We got a December wedding in the family, coming up fast.

Keep them up. Made for a much better view. Sorry I didn`t get more time to chat with you.
You seem to have that bent that I love so much.
Cheers,
GFS

After all these years when it comes to the best place possible,
Desoto on the west and Long Point on the east is our best bet!!

The I-4 corridor is do-able for the majority...;)

Late October early November works..:)

Is it possible to out do what we have had in the past?

I say YES!!

Yo, Sandy,
Does this admonition apply to Florida gatherings?

Not trying to be crass, just want to see some great pics of folks having fun with cool boats.

I thought the Civil War ended 150 years ago. We cheer.

Our next gathering is just weeks away and nary a peep has passed a lip. Almost Zen like.

cdavisdb 07-04-2013 02:16 PM

Somebody, pic a date.

And no, the War of northern aggression wasn't over 150 years ago.

Even a liberal can say "Forget Hell!!, and mean it.

That unpleasantness. I`m a carpetbagger by trade.
I really sell carpet.
Cheers,
GFS

cdavisdb 07-05-2013 07:46 AM

Even carpet baggers (at least those who love Seacrafts) get lots of love on this site.

OK I'll bite...how about the 1st weekend in Nov. the 1,2,3?

Weather should be nice and Carla might be back or on the way back from the Mountains.

65Bowrider 07-05-2013 04:45 PM

Beginning of Nov sounds good ... and we should be back by then,
and ready for a really good / crazy time with fellow CSC'ers!
I'm really anxious to go for a ride in your 21 Terry!

DonV 07-05-2013 06:01 PM

Very good! I'm OK with those dates.

cdavisdb 07-05-2013 07:31 PM

Works for me. Second the ride on the 21. Maybe run out with a couple of 25s?, switch drivers?

gofastsandman 07-05-2013 07:46 PM

Oh, hell yes. Busy posting night for gfs.

Blue_Heron 07-05-2013 08:45 PM

Ok. We have a date and a location. Now, who's coming?
Dave

cdavisdb 07-05-2013 08:48 PM

Me, and probably my lovely wife.

Bushwacker 07-05-2013 09:27 PM

Any of the November dates at Ft. Desoto sound good to me! Denny

Seeing is believing...:D

Snookerd 07-07-2013 10:09 AM

I just checked availability there for week 1 and 2 of November and there are no spots where we need to be for water access. We will either need to punt and just plan for the Spring, change our dates to a later time in Nov/Dec, or change venues. The first available spots are12/6 and 12/7. What does everyone want to do?

DonV 07-07-2013 10:27 AM

Danny, did they say how many are available on those dates?

Snookerd 07-07-2013 10:44 AM

Their reservation system shows no spots at all for either week :(

DonV 07-07-2013 11:34 AM

Poop!! Looks like we will need a long lead time to get Ft. Desoto sites reserved for us. Assuming we are looking at ten waterfront camping sites we may have to move to Spring.

WildBill 07-07-2013 01:47 PM

Count me in.

Illprobablyneedaboatridebill

RUSTYNTABATHA 07-10-2013 01:25 PM

Watching and waiting... Enjoyed meeting DonV this past week at his place in Isla.. so the rest of the gang should be AOK...lol

NoBones 07-10-2013 03:02 PM

No sites available that will fit our time frame at Ft. Desoto
Go figure! :o:(

OK, move onto plan "B" whatever that will be.... ?

DonV 07-10-2013 04:34 PM

Rusty....you really need to be careful and keep a close eye on some of these other "CSC" guys!!! Some are....shall we say, different, not really weird, just different!!. :) :) But I love 'em all!!!

Nice meeting you and your daughter, hope you had a great time while you were down there!!!! :)
