Saugeye, so saddened to hear of Rod's passing. :( Prayers out for his wife and children and the rest of his family and friends. Made a great impression here. I'm sure that carried throughout his acquaintances. I'm sure St Peter is already asking him about his Sceptre, and trying to gather salmon secrets and walleye intel... Rest in Peace, Floorboy.

Sorry to hear that. He was a regular here for sure. Prayers for his family.

You will be missed.... |
Saugeye,I'm so sorry to hear this.
Rod and I spent a fair amount of time on the phone Talking about Seacrafts. If I hadn't heard from him for a while,I'd pick up the phone and give him a call, just to talk about his boat. I felt as though we had been friends for years, and always looked forward to talking about his restoration.I spoke to him just a few weeks ago when he was trying to talk me into getting a TR-1 auto pilot I am so saddened by this bad news. My heart felt prayers go out for him and his family.May he rest in peace. |
Condolences to his family rip

Anyways, it wasn't the time or place to look at what needs to be done to his boat to get it ready for his son. Talking to the guys, it sounds like the engine needs to be installed as well as the outdrive. They also think that all of the glass work is done. |
This is a message I got from one of Rod's buddies from pipestone. Transom needs paint motor blocks need to be measured and made gunnels and back of boat put back on and glasses wire everything for new motor kicker and tr-1 remounted and the pidly stuff
|
Wow i just lost a friend yesterday to a heart attack he was 45. We lost a hell of a guy here..
