Need pics of the old so we can see what's available

RUSTYNTABATHA 06-02-2014 11:28 PM

mine are in the closet t the house ... if we reprint i would like a longsleve with seacraft down the sleeve !! i cant remember who it was but pretty sure it was one of the northeast guys ...

Snookerd 06-02-2014 11:36 PM

Peter did them in 2006/2007. I have 2 and an embroidered CSC logo from I believe Todd? We need to reach out to at least Peter if possible.

bigeasy1 06-03-2014 01:18 PM

I have two that I never wore,as let's just say were a "tiiiiiiieney" bit too tight.I keep thinking I'll lose some of the belly, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen any time soon.

I'd love a couple new ones,(and not to offend the originals),but a better quality slightly heavier cotton would be preferable. The originals were very light weight and thin tending to run on the small side if I remember right.
I also like that idea of long sleeve ones with the Seacraft logo,as well as short sleeves.

If someone wants a picture of what they looked like,I could post one up later today.

My friends think I'm nuts with the SeaCraft stuff.I bought a bunch of their clothing from the Seacraft Site before Tracker Marine closed it down.
I have long sleeve button downs, polo shirts, and rain jackets with the Seacraft logo on them.

That shirt was made for the 2009 Key Largo gathering at Skip 'n Carla's. I think one of the members from Miami had them made.

kmoose 06-03-2014 01:28 PM

I'm thinking a SeaCraft logo Speedo is more in order for the next gathering...

DonV 06-03-2014 04:05 PM

Yeah, I like Rusty's idea of the logo down the sleeve. Some of the nice "beefy T's" versus the light, thin ones. Long sleeve is my #1 preference. Somehow Ken, Speedo and DonV just does not go well together! :)

I have an old "hoodie" I think it was PeterB that had them produced

Miles Offshore 06-03-2014 05:31 PM

Got the same hoodie and a long sleeve Chuck and wear it in the winter. One time had t shirt with fishjacks red boat on it, was pretty nice but they did run small!

RUSTYNTABATHA 06-03-2014 05:59 PM

agreed on the running small.... If someone pics it up and runs with it or if we go back to PeterB ... heavier T and SeaCraft down one sleeve in original font... The speedo for Moose with built in cigar sleeve holderand acc. hooks for dive gear ... and i think with enough "firewater" we may even squeeze Don into a speedo.... And if we do a pullover sweatshirt I'm in for one of those also !!

DonV 06-03-2014 06:15 PM

"we may even squeeze Don into a speedo......"

Not in your lifetime! :) Or mine.

Snookerd 06-03-2014 06:46 PM

The Miami guy did a good job with Peters artwork for the Key Largo event. I have at least 3 of them.

He also said it was a royal PITA, but he was a good sport. The font is garramond.

If we loosened our Scottish purse strings and made it worthwhile, maybe someone would step up to the plate.

I went down this road with my sisters art and to do full color on nice shirts, you are at
16 clams for small runs. So that makes them 30 from a business viewpoint.

Not an easy sell at that price point.

castalot 06-03-2014 08:45 PM

I'm doing some checking for the shirts up here there's a shirt shop that does this kind of thing

bobr338 06-03-2014 09:00 PM

Count me in for a tshirt, long sleeve or hoodie....or all 3. I will say the design of the hoodie looks awesome!

bigeasy1 06-03-2014 09:53 PM

Here's a picture of one of the T-Shirts,front and back. It's the same shirt, but I took the picture with different lighting. The true color is somewhere in between.

Finding a quality maker at a reasonable price is the problem.I had some made for custom trolling flies i make.and even in large quantities, they were over twenty bucks.
If we ever get a chance for new ones,I'd take short and long T-Shirts and at least one sweatshirt.

I have a few different ones from over the years, ones like pictures, then there was a run with a 20SF picture on the back.

I'll dig them out and take some pics, they are WELL worn.

I would be in for atleast 3 or 4 and a hoodie if we could do that.

Ditto on them running small. Need a 2X and maybe 3X option. :D:D:D

dave3fl 06-04-2014 02:47 PM

I would be down for a few tee's and a hoodie as well. I would also prefer a heavier (better) quality, even if it is a few more clams.

I second that! I would love some shirts and a hoodie as well

RUSTYNTABATHA 06-04-2014 03:16 PM

i'll check with my guys when i get home on pricing... it will be a 1 time set up fee... then just what ever the cost of the run will be ... we can pick the t's / hoodies and bring them to him ....

For Terry...

castalot 06-04-2014 05:09 PM

I'm also getting some quotes but might need someone's shirt to copy or the original file

reelrampage35 06-04-2014 07:03 PM

I dont want to step on anyones toes on this, I have been inquiring about this thru PM's for a few days now and am also interested in getting these made especially in the hoodie. I have repeatedly sent Peter Boyle emails in regards to seeing if he had an interest in making them and if he didn't want to do it I sent him an email requesting artwork and his permission to make them. If anyone has had contact with him or if someone is going to make the shirts/sweatshirts/hoodies etc. please let me know, i will order a bunch of them as I wore the 2 sweatshirts i had out, i think they were 6-7 years old.
Thanks In Advance
Eric

castalot 06-04-2014 08:05 PM

Don't know if Peter is even on here anymore
Not stepping on anyone's toes that I know of

I'll take one in yellow to match the boat.

zendora 06-05-2014 10:56 AM

If its helpful, I made a design for my boat and had the shirts made by one of the online shops, but as some mentioned they weren't cheap. I used the insert shapes widget in MS Word to trace the outline from a side profile pic of my boat. If anyone wants to have them made, let me know and I can either send you the high res file of just the hull and you can tweek the topsides or I can try to help with a simple generic design.

Don't know if it is useful or not but I have a 3D CAD model I made of the 23 hull in Solidworks. Not exact, but reasonably close. You are welcome to it. Here is a JPG of a view...

castalot 06-07-2014 12:27 PM

This is what I've gotten for a price
Gildan 100% 6.1 oz. ultra weight cotton T-shirts printed with 1 color on the front and back
$12
With a pocket $14

Long sleeve with both sleeves printed $17
With pocket $18

Hanes 10 oz. 90/10 Ultimate cotton hooded sweatshirt printed with 1 color on the front and back $30

And $75 one time setup fee to cover the setup fee was thinking of adding $1 to every item ordered until it's paid then the extra for this website

There is a minimum order of 12 but we can mix and match styles

2X t's are $2 more
3X t's are $3 more
2X sweat is $3 more
3X sweat is $4 more

Also what ever shipping would be

Has anyone found the original art work otherwise is anyone willing to send me their shirt to copy
Thanks
Matt

Would you inquire about the same using the newer SPF light weight shirts?? I'm all in for the Gildan but the new "tech" shirts are nice.

FishStretcher 06-08-2014 09:03 AM

I would definitely buy some. Long sleeve, probably a sweatshirt and a T.
