Chs280 06-27-2014 03:29 PM

That build is incredible!!

BigLew 06-27-2014 06:10 PM

Looks like it could be a VDR hull. Is it?

If you could/would, please explain the few pic's down in the hull with some type of motor(?) and piping. A bait tank or ballast system? Otherwise a very sharp and clean looking boat. Kudos!

Its a Whitewater 28 hull, I do not believe they are VDR Hulls.
Not sure what you are referring to as to the question.
Forward is the motorized lift for the bunny pad, which is located in the bilge.
Aft there are bilge pumps, and r/w p/u's, plus the fuel manifold.
And in the console there is the P/A pump, autopilot and the F/W pump.
No bait tank, no ballast.

Envy is a sin. In this case, "Call me a sinner!"

beastley 07-17-2014 02:13 PM

Gray paint

Love the colors. (Thinkin about copying the scheme) one question though does the deck stay cool? Darker colors tend to absorb the heat. I know it's a light grey, just curious.

DonV 07-17-2014 04:00 PM

"I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints
Sinners are much more fun...
You know that only the good die young"

Big, I'm with ya! :)

The deck is a very light grey, still gets warm, maybe just a leetle too warm.

kmoose 07-18-2014 01:51 PM

I have grey floors a little darker than this and wouldn't have anything different. The difference in reduced reflected sunlight overides any warm deck issue.

Caymanboy 08-01-2014 10:41 AM

That blonde girl was 6'3" in her flat feet.
Damn she was awhole lotta woman.
I came eye to eye with those bodacious tata's. :D

DonV 08-01-2014 11:24 AM

I'm hoping you did not get your eye poked with the pointed end of one of those tata's and if you did you were not in too much pain!! :) We here at CSC worry about your safety.

Capt Chuck 08-01-2014 01:00 PM

I would not even wash that Coffin Box Towel :p

Terry England 09-08-2014 09:49 PM

Since 25 Safari's are so hard to find, I found this old B-25 hardtop that I re-did with some help from my friends. It ended up being a three year project. I couldn't find any Peanut Island Girls like CaymanBoy did, just 'ol Marsha, who's crowd'in in on Medicare eligibility soon. She pulls the anchor, if it ain't too deep and she throws a 6 pound hogfish over the transom if she comes across one.
I guess I'm pretty lucky to now have TWO good 'ol Gals -

Terry- You've got it made.....that setup must be great. Classic 25 Bert. The boat looks awesome. Those scallops are calling my name once again!

Terry England 09-08-2014 10:57 PM

Danny, I got friends coming up from Pine Island (Port Charlotte) to go this last weekend of the season. Come on if you want - you know the lay of the land now! They'er still scoop'in up off north of the Bayport marker off of the other Pine Island (Hernando County)

cdavisdb 09-09-2014 07:54 AM

Looks like the boat had a nice christening. Nice Job(and nice lady). Makes me miss my old Bert.

Before anybody gets excited, I received written permission from the CSC member to use his Nom de Plume for the name. My Intrepid and Fountain friends kept telling me it was too "Old School" and I needed to get up with the times.

"I guess I'm pretty lucky to now have TWO good 'ol Gals -"

Yes Sir!!! How do you keep with both of them? :) I don't want you to hurt yourself.

shine 09-09-2014 11:44 AM

Love the old Bertram, but her chines are showing :p

DonV 09-09-2014 12:50 PM

Dang hussy!!

FLexpat 09-09-2014 01:11 PM

Let her flaunt it! She's one of the few 25s I've seen that isn't so overweight from motors, extra hardware and saturated foam that she can show 'em sittin still. Really nice!

77SceptreOB 09-09-2014 02:38 PM

Looks good!

Tiny 09-09-2014 04:35 PM

:-) I was thinking the same thing.
