Any one have any info on this boat? Seen a few pictures around but they all had a cuddy cabin. The boat is a beast next to my 20cc. I know it had a pair of 225's but came with no engines. Was thinking adding a bracket to put a pair of 300 verados? Too much power? Saw one other with a bracket but all the rest don't. Any info would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has owned would like to be able to chat at some point. Project wn't be starting until the 20 is completed.

I was wondering who got it, I made a offer on it and came close to getting it a few months ago. It's a nice hull very big and needs lots of power. I was going to put a pair of 250 efi Mercury's on it if i got it but 300's would be awesome. I think max rated power was 600hp. I knew of one with twin 300 v8 evenrude outboards on it. Most I have seen had twin 225's or 250's. Glad you got it, she was making me anxious seeing it sit.

I have talked to 5 different people with 27' up for sale and this is the second 27' I tried to buy. The first one I sent a deposit down on it till I could get to FL and the owner sold it to some one else that offered more $, and this second one I tried to get the seller to come down to a figure I offered and by the time I decided to try again to work out a deal it was gone. Watched it just a little too long. Probably a good thing but one will come around for me sooner or latter. This one was not too far away from me either. The runs offshore here in NC are 60 Miles + and the 27' would make a good offshore battle wagon for sure. I would love to find an original moesly 27' but I like the 86-87 cc's as well. One day, One day, got way to many projects to do now anyhow.

Yea, the one with the upper controls on the tower. It looks like a nice project but twice as much as I want to spend on a 27' with out power. Hope to find one priced cheaper one day.

Saw it. Ken it's on SR 200 on the left before you get to the light in Hernando. Let's just say He's a Wee Bit Optimistic. Nice tri-axle trailer though. Friz; I think if you could get it for half you'd be right on the money.

I put one teacher and two shrinks into early retirement.

I bet they sit in a wheel chair on the front porch and dribble out of the corner of their mouth!! :)

Hey Congratulations on the 27! I know very little about the boat, other than I am guilty of convincing another firefihghter here in Bluffton, SC to buy it! Too funny! Did you have a chance to meet Grant and Grant, Sr. during the transaction?

That BEAST arrived at my house and spent a few days in my yard awaiting a place to call home. I don't know who was happier, the boat to make its journey north, or the two drunks pulling her north. It was a fun afternoon, to say the least. When they came to the realization that they did not want to pay for the power to move her, and after some minor fiberglass repairs, they listed her. I know for a fact you paid exactly what they had in her, minus their bar bill wherever she came from, I believe the west coast of Florida.

Your 20 is Beautiful, and Best of Luck with the 27!
