Free 1976 23' Seacraft

I came across this today if anyone is interested. She needs a good home and some work:

http://norfolk.craigslist.org/boa/4683527022.html

* It's not my boat. Jason, I made a donation of $25 because I've learned so much from here (58074515RP893583X). I'm also hoping to be a new Seacraft owner in the very near future!

I tried to get this one once before and it was too wet to get it out of the field it sat in, but talked to the owner a good bit. It is a basket case with the floor out and gutted. Rotted transom but a fairly good hull shell with light damage to the shell. I am trying to get up with the owner now again and will pick it up if he gets back with me. Only 2 hours away. Like I need another seacraft but cant pass on it. I call dibbs on it if it is not spoken for!!!

Maybe if you park her next to the 23 Sf, they will have Scampis.

Love to have a litter of scamps,

Made arrangements to pick it up Sunday, this is the second time trying to get it so we will see what happens...

Flat bed wrecker would save you allot of headache for what it would cost.

Hey Frizz, is your "shrink" good with this decision?? Or has he just given up trying to help you?? :) Will the addition of this free one leave you three to go for a dozen?

I thought about that and do have some one that may help me go that way but if not I got an empty trailer ready to go and will just move it on mine. The other one I will cut with the saw-zall and just throw it in the bote.

I haven't cleared it by him or the old lady yet, but I sold my 25' hydra-sport Wednesday so one gone and another to replace it. I don't think that she will notice the difference if I hurry up and get it in the place where the other one was sitting.

Im over a dozen they just are not all seacrafts, But I am swapping them out one by one. lol

I could find a use for that hull ;) If it falls through and you dont want it, I will take it :)

I went Sunday to get it but had a valve steam break off on my trailer so I ended up going this week instead. If all works out I will have it home this week. If not I will let u know shine.

Finally got the 23' home to play with the others. Wasn't to bad loading the boat but cutting the trailer apart was not so easy. After 5-6 sawzal blades and a grinder it was put in the back of the truck for haul. Got home at 1 am with her last night.

Hey Frizz, I was wondering how you have them lined up?? Is it the smaller ones on the left and the larger ones on the right or the other way around? Or do you just have them willy nilly mixed all together?? Do you have them parallel to each other or more like a parking lot and diagonal? It must be a tough decision!! You need a beer to think about it. :)

pianewman 10-04-2014 02:47 PM

Jeez, guys, if the CDC in Atlanta hears about you, you'll be quarantined for sure...easy for frizz...just stay inside the circle you make with your boats!

I am still waiting to see if this will happen, The red one keeps making moves on the white one but no action yet.

I have a few clips from about a year ago, little different today but you may get the idea. Major pain to mow grass. Going to take some left over convor belt from work and lay down under them to help with this. Im actually in the process of getting rid a bunch of crap believe it or not. I sold a few hulls in the last few weeks (non seacrafts) and have about 4-5 more going to the land field / dump over the next few weeks too. Already took 3 trailer loads of stuff to the dump too. Im in clean up mode at the minute. Got to clear out all the old stuff to make room for all the new junk I don't need. :D
