Saw this at the ramp at 441 and Riverland in Ft Lauderdale.
Who's it be?

Bushwacker 10-17-2014 01:51 PM

Definitely an original 21 windshield! Looks like it's been "rode hard and put up wet"!

flyingfrizzle 10-17-2014 01:55 PM

So there are a few more floating around out there hummmm

DonV 10-17-2014 02:41 PM

I don't see one in your inventory!!?? What's with that?

Who?
Did you talk to the Russian?:D

McGillicuddy 10-19-2014 01:47 PM

Gee Ole, where are the girls?

Ok, now cough it up - new client? personal project? 3rdDay's eel hotel?

Bottom looks pretty clean, is that a 150 on the back?

Ryan 10-19-2014 08:49 PM

Patina like what fast and loud calls a rusty truck .

Yes I did speak with her.

McGillicuddy 10-23-2014 11:38 AM

Talk to me fellas, what do you know about this boat or owner. Real curious about the motor power on that bracket (older armstrong?). Have you seen it ride? Surely you asked some questions, no?

Ryan 10-23-2014 11:43 AM

I personally haven't seen it but I'll be on lookout in that neighborhood .

kmoose 10-23-2014 01:46 PM

I bet it could of been bought cheap. I would of roll up on him like Counting Cars.

I'd check-in, too. But I get the sense dude knows what he's got an is doing an active restoration. seems his bottom and transom have been worked over. Surely you got more than pics Cayman Boy, do tell...

I already did, cheep was an under statement. It cost me more to stay at the Holiday Inn express that night then the boat cost me. He said he called it a Sea Crap and said it rode like crap. Worse riding deep vee he ever had. He was glad someone took it off his hands because he was about to un-rig the motor and bracket and take it to the dump. Glad I found him before he did that.......

Oh yea then I woke and up looked in the back yard just to realized it was all just a dream and I still was Moesly-less. Crap, maybe one day!

That's how I helped Brian get his 21 years back.

It was in a lot off Riverland and 441, I was doing some service on another boat I had hauled. During the hour I was there I did not see anyone to ask about it.
It looked like he was working on it slowly, the trailer had been worked on.
It had that 115 Johnson on it.

That is all is know. :(

PeterM 10-24-2014 08:44 AM

Trailer looks like it has held up well....;-)

Thanks Ole, I recall Carla saying the 21 would hold plane just fine with a 115 and that motor motor looked more v4 than v6.

Hope one of you Dade/Broward folks run into this guy again and draw him in to mix here... havent seen that boat before although it looks a bit like the one in St Augustine a few years back, but I thought fluke took that one to Hawail

Wow - that's an amazing sighting !

Being at the extremely right place and time.
I would have enjoyed speaking with the owner, and then of course inquiring about selling it to me !!!!
