Just came back from a week in Cuba...spent 5 days in Havana, and 2 days out in the country side.
When was the last time you seen one of these around? Attachment 10063 |

The background scene looks like a movie set that is portraying a scene from the fifties and sixties. Can you imagine the gear heads and classic car nuts(myself included )that are dreaming of the possibility of getting their hands on these classics.
Maybe I could get a mini barge and tow one of the classics home by sea behind my Tsunami. And yes more pictures please. |
Dang!!! a 1954 Chevy wagon. (I think)

Here are a few more pictures. Some iron restored some not. Be sure and check out the 55-6 Chevy with a diesel in it. Most cars do not have the original drive train...that is hidden away in the back 40, and they swap out a diesel for economy. You better have brought some cigars back!

Nice! Would anyone here take their SeaCraft to Havana from Key West?
|
Heck yea Otto! Would you show up to go?:D

I have a retirement dream of powerboating to Puerto Rico and Havana would be my first stop. Not quite sure my Tsunami and 11 year old motor is up to the mission but it is far from undoable.
