Pourable foam

@Gulfstream composites- myself and my friend are making a cooler in a larger boat by placing inserts into space that used to have an ice machine. Recommendations for a pourable insulating foam that is suitable for this use? Thanks in advance

In the northeast I would look for local spray urethane installers. There are many open and closed cell urithane formulas. A friend was in the business, I will ask him. If it must be pourable that may be a different story.
Let me call him and I will get back to you.

We use roofing foam to build our coolers.2" foam 4'x8' 45.oo bucks. Fiberglass felt on both side. ..when glass it is light a keeps ice forever

My friend the pro responded to my question about what product they used and could it be poured.

"Foam we used was only for spraying, reaction time was to fast for pouring. It is a closed cell. We had several manf. BASF was one of them, as for the iso or the A side there are only two plants in the counrty that make it. We used different density depending on the application, in freezers or cold storage we would use a 2# density, for house or metal buildings we would use a 1.5# density, and on roofs we would use a 3# density

Sorry I did not see this until now. Yes, the pourable foam will work very well for such an application...

I have seen pourable foam blow molds apart. Use caution and run test.

thats right. Make multiple small pours, let the previous pour reach its max expansion before making subsequent pours.
