Good surfing though...lol!

Naw, too close to the coast, makes for big chop, way too close together for good rides. If we get lucky, it will stall off Hatteras and sit there for a while. Then we could get some excellent waves.
Hope so, its been a long flat year. |

Almost my last day. |
finally, maybe some good waves will come up the coast for us boardriders...

Please let the wind be easy on my Seacraft restoration facility.(aka) Man cave. I need to finish her after 3years of hard labor. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Nothing but compliments and " what kind of boat is that". It's a Seacraft and u ain't got one and it can't be bought. I see a hurricane party in my near future. I might look like Lt Dan on forest gump!

praying that the storm does no damage and just brings the much needed rain to the area.

Wait to see if Erika can handle the Hispaniola mountains

I think it took a turn for western NY,because we were only able to get four days of fishing out of ten on our ten day trip to Western Lake Ontario.
As usual Noaa was wrong on the wind and wave reports.Called for two to four footers but were easily four to six. I can't remember if it was Monday or Tuesday, but for the first time ever,I wasn't very comfortable in the 23 Tsunami. I called it a day and started the trip back, only to take a wave over the transom in a following sea (and it's an I/O with a high transom). The ten mile ride back was not much fun.I think I need more lessons in boat handling in those conditions. If only they weren't so damn close together. |
