Good luck on your sale, Looks like a nicely done Seafari. I hope to have my 25' Seafari going by spring.

Looks like a lot of boat for the price of a new outboard. Looks great! Good luck on the sale

Hey Dave, the number you posted is some poor old woman who is not sure she has a boat for sale, but definitely NOT on CL.

Can you please correct it. I'd like to call you.

Michael.

gatorbait 12-12-2015 08:58 PM

Corrected, sorry for the confusion.

Year 1997?

The cl add list it as a 1977 year. The 97 may be a error or possibly the year redone. Some advertise the boat as the year restored but in this case may just be a typo

gatorbait 12-15-2015 12:53 AM

It was a typo. That's what I get for posting in a rush from my phone. Sorry guys, it's been corrected.

I see you still had changed it on the first post but it still reads 1997 in the Thread tittle on the hyperlink to open the thread. I corrected that part for you as well. It now reads 1977 also...

Hello Dave, accidentally spent my 49th in SC. Is your boat still for sale?

Michael.

joshmon71 01-01-2016 12:55 PM

is the boat self bailing? if its original, does the deck drain tubes cross over, beneath deck and go direct from deck to thru hulls (not transom)? how many bilge pumps?

i am recommending this to a friend, who has to have a cabin to satisfy the wife, and needs at most a 20 footer. however he slips the boat, and is not a handy guy nor an experienced boater. not self bailing and slipped, has me worried. its the #1 pain point in the safari imo.

gatorbait 01-01-2016 05:14 PM

Boat is self bailing with the original design directly down through the hull. Boat has two bilge pumps. One with a float switch and the other is manual. Both bilge pumps work perfectly and each has it's own rocker switch and breaker.

Michael, the boat is still for sale. I'm on vacation this week and will be back in town on the 5th.

Ryan 01-16-2016 09:57 PM

Hi gatorbait, is this still for sale?

gatorbait 02-22-2016 09:31 PM

Ryan, sorry for the late reply. I recently changed jobs and have been extremely busy. Yes the boat is still for sale and the craigslist posting is http://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/boa/5460250430.html

TomParis 02-29-2016 12:03 PM

No longer for sale, purchased by a seacraft forum member Vezo PartII!

Vezo, Part II 03-02-2016 07:45 AM

Thanks Tom. I hope your wife is feeling better. My mom was a nurse, rest her soul. BTW, you're going to be a little disturbed when we see each other next, or should I say, the first time you see this 77.

But I'll give you a screaming deal on her 76 Blank Canvas twin sister!!! Haha

Be well my friend. Part II
