washdown pumps
 
need a washdown pump to rinse decks of fishblood etc. what are some of the better ones to purchase?

Same here,I put a Shur-Flo in my Tsunami about seven7 years ago and it's still working perfect and we run it a lot.

Washdown
 
I use a 5 gallon bucket and scrub brush. I never have a problem with the blood.. Just keep er wet

Martin, have you ever had a problem with the seacock, pump motor or the electrical with your bucket?

Never Sir, btw ,it works for going #2 as well as #3..just saying...I try to keep it simple and well I'm cheap too...

Honestly I have not used a pump that was up to par for wash down. Unless you are on a larger vessel with a generator... Now for a simple fresh water wash down shur blaster would be fine. But they lack pressure and volume IMHO..if there is one out there let me know please...
