Hello all, how ya doin, new to the forum here, ive owned a 76 18 seacraft for 2 years, sold that, found this hull a few weeks ago thats supposedly a 87 seacraft but for a few reasons doesnt look like one, im not sure if decks were replaced or transom but they both feel rock solid. The hin has been changed by the police , the paperwork from police has it listed as a 87 seacraft, not sure how he got that. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Planed on cleaning it up and throwing on a older yamaha 115 i have. Thanks

The hin dont help, its been redone in 2004, doesnt say anything besides homemade.

I'm guessing an older Pursuit.

Old Key Largo?

Mficken31 12-28-2016 11:56 AM

Tried looking up older key largos, pursuits cant seem to find any resembling this one. How bad could it ride with that decent deadrise at transom, might have to fix up and sell to put money towards a real sc : /.

Unless you plan on being airborne a lot and just touching the wave tops, the deadrise up front is more important, and that one looks pretty flat up forward, plus those spray knockers will create even more lift. My guess is that it'll ride about like a flat bottom Mako!

Gonna get rid of it and go the right way. Thanks all, maybe ill do my brothers 69 20' moesly sc , but everything so expensive to redo it, decks cut out already ill post some pics.

Maybe

The older Persuits i believe were Slickcrafts, by Leon Slickers. Ive owned several Cuddy Slickcrafts and that bottom is a close match to a Slickcraft. I think they had a 22 degree deadrise at the stern.
