Seems like a good price with all that work being done to it.

The transom and bracket I used 1708 bi- axle cloth and marine epoxy. The deck I used 2 layers of 10 oz cloth on both sides. All work was done with marine epoxy. I use system 3 two part primer and system 3 fairing compound. I also widened the gunnels on the back to 6”. I’ve gotten a lot of calls with excitement but no closers. I’ll try and post a few more pictures tonight.

Wood or composite coring?

thehermit 03-26-2018 06:59 AM

Pretty dam good deal for all the work and bracket.

WildBill 03-26-2018 09:43 AM

I used 1/2” marine plywood on the deck and glassed it on both sides. The transom is marine plywood as well. The coring on the bracket is plywood as well. I purchased all the materials from Joel when he was at boat builders central

Well played!!! :)

uncleboo 05-22-2018 02:16 PM

Kinda like when I was 18 and our family car was a 1970 Chevelle 2 door with a 350/300! "Dad, you know you and mom need something more appropriate for a family!" $800.00 later and I was instantly cool among my friends. ;)

Almost a year later and this classic SeaCraft just got a new 2019 Suzuki 175 fly by wire and is a little closer to seeing the water this summer.
