One Last Time!

Being realistic, this is probably the last time I’ll get to pilot the SeaCraft myself.
My buddies and I spent a week on the river, in all kinds of conditions from glassy calm to heavy chop and driving rain.
It was a hoot!
I can’t thank my friends enough for getting me into and out of the boat, making sure I always had a cold beer nearby and keeping me off the sandbars.

Oh, and I couldn’t load a video here, but if you want to see a SeaFari hauling the mail into the most gorgeous sunset go here:

It’s worth it, I swear!

Hey Tony,so glad you were able to get out on that beautiful boat.Pics and video were great and nothing like good friends to make such special times.

Been thinking about you. I wasn't sure if I could email you or if better to leave a message on your cell. I was wondering if you finished up on the clinical trials. In the mean time I hope you Keep Having lots of good times with your friends on that very very sweet boat. You're in my thoughts and prayers.God bless

Hey Tony-
Your photos and video arrived while we were in Europe, finally looked at them upon return to the USA. Great pics and memories for you. But certainly hope this isn't your last ride man. Not only do I admire your work on your Seafari (pretty much a duplicate of mine), but also admire your strength and upbeat attitude dealing with your health! There have been a lot of prayers for you which hope that inspires your faith. I have thought of you often since your Seafari acquisition and messages we shared about cool boating & skiing on the Colorado.

Either one works, John, thank you!
I'm right in the middle of the study now, and get my first dose of treated stem cells on 11-14. I'm hoping for the best!
Thank you again for all you did for me, and I hope life is treating you well!

bigeasy1 02-13-2019 01:11 PM

how are you

Hey tony
I came across this on the news and wasnt sure if it is the treatment you had with stem cells. There is a navy pilot with ALS being treated with a an experimental drug called murone. He had lost his ability to speak but has since regained the ability to speak with this new procedure.
He can also pull himself up and out from a wheelchair. The company who was responsible for this is called the Goldwater Institute Its under a new program signed into law by the president called "The right to try law".
The pilots name is Matt bellinski his facebook is Facebook/@matt bellinski.7
It seems promising.
Not sure if this was the trials that you were in, but figured you might want to look into it? Thinking of you often, take care and God bless. John R.

Tony - Looks like you had 2 treatments from your facebook page. Are you seeing any changes?

Yes, Thanks Big.
that was the article. I originally saw it on the Stewart Varney show on Fox Business network.I know that I saw it featured on Bloomberg as well.

Yes, this is the trial that I'm in, and unfortunately it hasn't shown any positive results for me so far. It's a double blind study, so I may be getting the placebo, but there's no way to know that.

I continue to stay positive and hope for a breakthrough. I would dearly love to use the boat again this summer!

Thanks for thinking of me!
