New 300

Picked up boat from international marine today and mike did exactly everything he said he would and motor looks great. Good people there and I highly recommend them. They said at sea trial boat did 55 at I believe 5800 rpm. Mike changed prop and said should get 6000 rpm at wot and a little more speed-. Next week I will have it out and report numbers. Thx again mike international

Oldboat thanks for sharing. That 300 Suzuki looks really nice hanging off the back of your boat!
Please post the final #s and prop size once you dial everything in.

Oldboat 07-04-2019 08:39 PM

Will do

kmoose 07-05-2019 08:08 AM

Yep, Mike and his team are always great to work with.
Did you end up with The 20 or 18.5 prop?

Briguy 07-05-2019 06:46 PM

My best MPG approaches 3.8 with that motor.
Crazy. I top at 52-54 clean and light 49 heavy with Bimini
and radar arch.

I will be the number of it today.

Looks great! Mike at Intl Marine is still the man for price, install, and follow-up. I just sent a friend to him a month ago for another DF300AP. Lowest price around still! I run an 18.5 on my 300.

This is the prop on motor that I have to try from the 4 blade they first ran at around 5800 rpms. Mike said I should pick up the rpms I need

I see you quoted the first post. So did you get tired and not read any others? Your answer is in secret code there!

KNZ911 10-11-2019 11:46 AM

Come on Don. No room for sarcasm here. He might not be familiar with all things marine.

Occupation
yacht broker, boat captain ( Directly from his profile) :)

DonV 10-11-2019 05:59 PM

Wrong...sarcasm is fun! :) We at CSC like having fun!

Word is, thick skin or move on !! :p

KNZ911 10-11-2019 06:32 PM

I'm with ya on that. I was poking at his occupation under his profile and lack of attention to details, however obvious they may be. Also agree on thick skin, helps keep the itch at bay when grinding.
