1979/2014 SeaCraft Seafari, Etec 150 ‘09
For sale is my 1977 Seafari 20, refurbished in 2014 by Yacht Doctors of Largo/St. Pete, Fla.. Ice Blue hull sides, and White AwlGrip topsides. Taco Stainless Steel rub rail. Purchased boat in 2017 with 275 hours on Etec. 300 hour service completed same year. New Perko battery selector. Under 350 hours and counting as I am still using it. 2017 Garmin 94sv, EchoMap, GT 51 TM transducer, NMEA wired to engine.
2018 new battery, number 2. Number 1 ready for replacement. BayStar hydraulic steering cylinder seals replaced. 2019 had to replace Lenco LED trim indicator switch which is no longer available. Purchased new black box as well. This hull has a one off custom splash well. Custom live well between rear seats that doubles as additional seating for two small children. Original cabin headliner, no cushions. Teak door is fine. Original glove box hatch. Remote AM/FM, Bluetooth receiver and four cockpit speakers. VHF and 8’ Shakespeare glass antennae. Medium blue aluminum Bimini top with boot and large plastic zippers for new, never used three sided Eisenglass enclosures. SS rear pop up cleats. Forward hatch works perfectly without any leaks. Trailer is original to boat. ‘77 Rolls aluminum C-channel, dual axle, new bunks and carpet, pipe lights on guide on supports. New tires with one trip to the Keys and back to Tampa by previous owner. I trailered to HHI, SC and back to Hernando Beach, Fla., where it is in the water for sea trial with deposit. Will try to post pics as well. Asking $15,000. Able to transport for minimal reasonable cost. Vezo, Part II PayPal Transaction 0PH724712A9932047 |

Hopefully a bigger SeaCraft. Fishing the Gulf and trying to stay over a rock pile the size of a picnic table is pretty difficult, even at ten feet. Winds and current change so quickly you’re off in the desert before you have a chance to check your bottom machine. Downsizing the fleet to the Master Angler and an ‘88 Whaler 15 Sport which I have converted to a center console. The MA, may be going Rhodan for better Grouper fishing while I try to find something bigger. I’m having trouble finding someone to fish with here in Fla, and as I age, I’m getting less and less comfortable fishing alone. I want to stay with SeaCraft but have been impressed fishing a 26’ ProKat with twin 225 Zune’s. Have not spilled a beer yet!?! I want to go bigger before throwing in the towel. Don’t think I’ll regret it. Why? Is yours for sale? Haha

No but I am looking at Rhodan to solve the anchoring issue. I was almost there and this older 17' Montauk presented itself.......another phase in the disease.
That said; everything is for sale ;) |

I’d like to go 25’ before I have a lift built. I do not care for another cabin. Do I need to go check this one out for a possible trade? I’ve been invited...

KMoose, do you ever use your cabin, or is it a catch all? Honest question. Tired of being the bow monkey, do not care for a windlass, and I don’t really want a Rhodan 84, and appropriate batteries stowed. Open for opinions.

Found my next boat. Asking $11,000 OBO. She is currently located in Hernando Beach, Fla..

Congrats Michael. We need to see that new boat! Which member won the lottery???

Ha! Unfortunately I missed the boat, LITERALLY!!! I’ve got too much to liquidate to make the final purchase. But I’m working on it. May have to offer up my first SeaCraft, the MA. Really hate to do it but it’s not proving practical for fishing the GOM, and I am moving towards spending most of my time in Fla. I’ll find the right boat. Thanks.

While I rarely use the cabin for a cabin, the most critical role it plays is shedding water when I end up in the shit. Over the years I have taken some waves over the bow and a few would have been swampers in an open CC. Never once has one breached the windshield. As far as anchoring and fishing. I'm not big on anchoring. When I do I have my rode already tied off up front to length for the area I'm fishing and keep the rode and anchor in a milk crate on the deck with an anchor ball for retrieval. I set this up the day before when I'm on the trailer so no monkey dancing on the water. Everything can be done from the stearn from that point. At this point in my life I would never go back to a CC. I get to fish and dive on some real nice ones but every time I always miss my mini express SeaCraft and all the security and comfort it provides. |
Boat has been sold to a young man who is a new member here. Thank you CSC!
