Transom color

Has anyone painted their transom a different color than the rest of the hull? I'm toying with the idea of adding a bit of zazz to my boat by highlighting the transom with a different color of paint sort of like how some sportfishers have varnished wood for theirs. I'd love to see some pics if anyone has done this.

Oooh! I like that.

I actually thought about this briefly on my re-build. I think you loose some of the effect if you have on outboard or a bracket breaking up the transom. Man it looks great on that inboard though.

You're right about the bracket breaking up the transom. I was thinking I'd leave that the same color as the hull.

I figured if I tried to match the hull it would look like a mistake so I went white.

The white looks good with the blue. Maybe I can do the opposite since my hull is close to white already

Way over the top for my taste. But I'm also not a fan of fake anything.

Pretty cool placement of forward speakers on that rig...

I've been thinking about the same thing. I will have to paint the transom since it will have glass work but haven't decided if the exterior hull will be painted or leave it original for now to save some coin.
