Part needed 72 20’ SF
2 Attachment(s)
Ready to start on a partial restoration of my 20’ SF. Hoping someone can help me locate a bracket that joins the end of the rail to the boat. Lost it fishing in Cape Cod Bay. If anyone has this part for sale, or can point me in the right direction in would be much appreciated.

You can have mine, not going to reinstall rail. However, they were thru-bolted from factory, bolts jus spin and it will be a few weeks before I take the cap off to access them. I'll keep a check on this thread in case you find some sooner. As usual, if you do get them from me, I'll ship them to you and you can just make a donation to the site. Cheers.

Fantastic! Thank you for the quick response. I will keep you posted.

Uncle Boo, thank you again! Please let me know when you are ready (no rush) and I will send you my address. Good luck with your boat.

Go ahead and pm me your address. May have time to mess with it this weekend. How many do you need?
|
Uncle Boo, Zoom in on this photo and you will see the rail end where bracket fell off. Hope this makes sense.

Are your rail ends/fittings bronze?
|
I suspect they used the same mounting hardware with either of the layouts, if someone could confirm. Mine was the 2 low rails that had the fittings on both ends. I'm fairly confident they will work for you. Got the rails and the rear fittings at the shop. Will check them and get back with you.

Hello Zachary, Yes I believe they are bronze (heavy duty).
Uncle Boo, thank you again |
just checked and, unfortunately, mine are aluminum. You can still have them if you want.
