value of 1999 Yam 250

What would be a fair market value for a 1999 Yamaha 250HP ox66. Icludes Guages, controls, prop and hydraulic sterring. I don't know how many hours are on the engine. Says it is in great shape and has all service records. The guy is moving up to twins. Any suggestions on what to offer for price?

Its not very usesful but nadaguides gives 8300-9800 fir the engine. Unfortunately that's pretty vague...

Just for comparison, in the current Boat Trader (south Florida edition):

1999 Yamaha 250's - $13,300 for two
1997 Yamaha 250 - $6,900

Its worth about $500.00 but I will be a good guy and give you $750.00 for it.
