surveys

All right folks. I'm new to this seacraft disease. Who is qualified to survey a 1980 23' on Cape Cod?

Mark,

Welcome to CS.com! I can't answer your surveyor questions, but can confirm the disease part.

Best of luck.

Mark Welcome to CS. If thats the 23 cuddy cabin in Cotuit be careful. Its been for sale for a long time, last year it was $14900 then went to $10k and I think its in the Cape Cod times now for $8500. Seacrafts usually dissapear shortly after a for sale sign is put on them so have the surveyer look real close there is a thread on this site about that boat. I wanted to look at it last fall but after getting some feed back about the broker I didn't look at further. Look close and good luck. Jon

Mark - welcome to C-S ... I agree with Jon - that boat has needed some serious work and even at $8500 is no bargain. I talked to a friend who had seen the boat plus there were a lot of pics on line previously. Just not a good value.

A lot of better ones pop up on BT from time to time if that's what you are looking for...

Thanks for all the help, as it turns out I'm not a buyer for this one.

Any commentary on an inboard 23' Sceptre?
