20' sceptre Bimi top

Does anyone have any information on bimi tops that will fit on a 1978 20'sceptreI have seen some aftermarket tops that just give you fit criteria by stating boat length ,do these work or are they flimsy junk? Im not sure I'll need one of these since the sun has only been out 2 days in the past 2 weeks Thanks in advance.

Just my opinion, but those aftermarket tops are junk. If you want one that will fit properly and last a while, you need to spend the extra $ and have one custom made, especially if it will see a lot of use. If you're only occasionally going to put up the bimini, you might get away with the aftermarket. However, you won't be able to get front, side and aft curtains with an aftermarket top.

I agree with Scott.

I found the price to be high for a piece of universal junk.

That money can be used as a deposit towards a custom top, and will increase the boats value .... especially in Maine/NE weather!

My few cents .... Nick
