anyone know of any really good boat salvage yards in south florida?

I support the "who needs boats in the water theory"

Hi tango, I'm here in Ft Myers and theres not very much left in boat salvage yards locally. Marine surplus in Ft Myers and Sarasota are about it until you get to Clearwater and Tampa. Most know what they have and charge just under retail unless its an oddball part. I try and shop e-bay for some and have a commercial account at west and boaters world for what I can't find. E-mail me what your looking for and I'll try and help. I think I've looked for one of about everything that exists for boats at one time or another.
Dave

Ps. What boat do you have?

You can also e-mail people from the forum by going to the small icons above their posts to get their address.
Barnaby, Tampa , St pete, Clearwater have a lot of yards.I can't think of their names off hand but they advertise in Boat Trader pretty regularly and have a lot of stuff.
