Getting Ready to.....

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a 23cc this weekend and if all goes well with the test drive then it will be mine
The boat has been surveyed and except for a lot of little things like gel coat blemishes and a soft hatch etc.. it looks good. It is a 1975 and this is the second owner. It's got a 250 carbed oil injected yamaha and a 15 hp 4 stroke mercury on the back.
My question to the board is... is there anything in particular that I should ask or look for when I meet with the owner. Lord knows I've fired a bunch of questions already to the poor guy. Getting excited

The one thing that I learned the hard way a long time ago is to check the Hull number with the title of the boat if it doesn’t match walk away.

Make sure the name on the title matches the name of the seller. It may not be as common in CA as in FL, but I've seen a few on this side of the country that are "being sold for friends", etc.
