List to starboard

My 20 ft Seafari lists to the starboard under power. This is a very noticeable angle that is reduced when power is reduced or a 200 lb weight is on the port side of the boat. I have checked all obvious things and can only figure maybe the shop hung my new 4 stroke at a bit of an angle. Any thoughts would be most appreciated!!!Angle also is reduced as I reduce power.

Your motor's trim tab may need to be adjusted. Also, you should consider getting trim tabs for your boat, they would make a huge difference in your boating pleasure.

I thank all that responded to list to starboard. I have tried the motor trim tab in all positions,I installed a set of smart tabs which helped handling tremendously but not the listing. I will check on previous postings. Thanks!!!

My wife says I have list to starboard too. She thinks it's the kicker motor, but it's hard to say...

Let us know what you find out.

This unique problem or should I say puzzle has caused me to think “what’s the deal here” more than once. I must say I am still baffled but today I thought of one other factor that maybe could be a inherent part of the problem with this size boat. I own a 23 so I might be way off on this one but here it goes anyway. Have you guys ever considered that maybe one of the longitudinal steps is running in the water and the other step on the opposite side is running mostly out of the water. Kind of like speed boats at high speeds that chine walk because of not enough running surface keeping the boat stable.

Could possibly be trailor hook. I know of one that was left on wrong trailor so long it developed one. My 20 lists a little to port but moving cooler cures. I dont have tabs and do have full biminy with sides & drop.
