SPLASHED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well , I splashed Her on Sat. ! Whatta Differance !No Noise- creaking , Popping ! Suicide knob ? Call it a Pleasure knob. Rhino liner on the gunnels EASY to Clean I think it even quite'ns it down.Seems smoother,Tabs work great on the outside,Ball scuppers are OK still have water flowing in,Not as bad.Garmin depth works 34 MPH.Transom mount.New trailer(Rolls) Loads & pulls Great.5.5 hours the 1 st day,And YES I got out the second day also4.8 hrs.The WIFE let Me off The Honey Doo list(She even MOWED when We got back!!). choppy ,Windy but great !"1" year since labor Day !
Here's the only problems "3".
Tach, water Temp does not work. I know this engine so it wasn't a big deal.
When I key the Mike the speakers POP & Low battery indicator on the icom shows ? Ground , Power ???I transmit & receive OK.
Still a few things to Do , but a least I can enjoy Her now !
When I was unloading & loading I saw more SeaCrafts than I have ever seen before at the Ramp. 4 going out 6 coming in !
I passed this site along to a couple of them.
Nice Secptre , & 18 ftr.
THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP !!!

Whoooooo-Hooooooooooooo!!! I know your releived and excited to be back on the water. Thanks for all your advice on my own mini-projects. Thats a long haul to be off the water. Time to go bang some fish and some beer not in that order.

Funny, I have yet to see another old SeaCraft in my area. But I went fishing Friday and had at least 3 people stop and say, wow, nice boat and their jaws hit the floor when I told them she was 20 years old.

Ha Capt Brad
Glad to here you Splashed her. I know how it feels to work on a boat for over a year. For me Fishing is #1 and working on my boats takes #2. This year I did some things on the boat but there is nothing like being on the water especially when your launching out of Homestead and going through Ceases Creek looking towards the reef. What a great feeling. People pay thousands to do what you can do every weekend.
