just curious if this size boat can be beached in the surf and then retrieved back out without trouble or what...

Only if you do it at LOW Tide and a few hours to mess around onshore waiting on high tide to float you.

There is a commercial fishing guy in Newport Beach, CA that regularly launches and retrieves his 23-25 center console from the beach in wave conditions up to about 4/5 feet. It is pretty amazing to watch him run & gun in between the swells on the way out and then on the way back in surf the swells and hammer it about half throttle right on to the beach.

With that said, I would not try it unless you are comfortable with the possibility of swamping your boat and have some experience/knowledge with timing swell intervals and judging wave heights.
