BOAT VALUE
HA GUYS
I THOUGH YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THIS INFO. I HAD TO GET A PROFESSIONAL SURVEY DONE ON THE BOAT FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES. I FIGURED I WOULD PASS ON THE INFO. FIRST OF ALL LET ME TELL YOU GUYS THAT YOUR LABOR IS NOT IN VAIN. THE SURVEY COMPANY SAID “YOU HAVE A NEW BOAT HERE” AND PRICED IT’S VALUE AT $38,000 ABOUT $6,000 MORE THAT WHAT I SPENT TO RESTORE THE BOAT. I DIDN’T CUT ANY CORNERS ON MY WORK AND MATERIALS AND IT SEEMS THAT OTHERS (PROFESSIONAL) CAN AND DOES RECOGNIZE THE WORK. I DIDN’T DO THIS PROJECT TO SHOW A PAPER PROFIT BUT LOOKS LIKE I GOT IT ANYWAY. I GUESS NOW I CAN TELL MY WIFE HOW MUCH IT COST ME TO DO THE BOAT. Re: BOAT VALUE
Fellow-Ship, when you tell your wife how much you "spent" and how much it's worth on "paper" and she still takes you out anyway, can I have the boat ?
Seriously, nice work - I just hope my wife doesn't see this [ June 24, 2002, 08:37 PM: Message edited by: John R ] |
