bilge pumps

A question for everyone..What size bilge pump is
the appropriate size for my 20' seacraft seafari??
This past weekend I spent some time working on the boat and i decided to take out my gas tank and
clean up and check all wire connections to the pump and float switch. Since everything is
accessable I was thinking of buying a new automatic pump. Any pros & cons on the automatic ?? and size in gph ? Thanks
