Important question for potter!!!??? (regarding boat titles)

well bill, heres my dilema:

my boat is a 1970 sea craft cuddy that was origionaly an i/o that was converted to an O/B by the previous owner in 1997 (it is 2 layers of 3/4'' ply and 3 layers in the middle!!) but anyways, when it was converted a title change was in order, and becuase of the circumstances surrouding it, the brand was changed to Homemade instead of Seacraft.

now, i recall reading that when a conversion takes place, the builder (or manufatuer) need to write a letter stating that the boat is indeed a seacraft. so since the pervious owner neglected to do this, and i would like the words SEACRAFT on my title! how do i go about changing it?, do i infact need a letter from mister potter? thanks all

Ben
