Suzuki 140 vs. Johnson 140 prices??

Anyone seen any pricing comparisons between the Suzuki 140 4-stroke and the same engine in the Johnson wrapper?

Online info regarding length of warranty and such seems to be the same.

http://www.edsmarinesuperstore.com/johnson.htm had the Johnson 140 for $7500 after rebates & nothing else, I had a price last year from a C-Town RI Suzuki dealer of $9500 or so rigged with harness & controls

A 140 Johnson I sell for 8460.00. THis is a 2003 engine with battery cables. To get all the rigging along with a prop cost about 550.00. THey are the same as a suzuki but use different wireing harness thru the boat to work with the system check gauges that Johnson uses. If you have any other questions on these engines please ask. Did you give the Evinrude 135 DI a thought?

For those interested please call John at Freedom Marine in Sarasota. They by far have the best pricing for Suzuki's. Ask for John at 941-924-5551. I believe the rigging and prop will add 1000.00 to the base price of the motor.
