Transom hatch covers

My 23 CC came without the transom hatch covers. Does anyone have 2 they would sell? Help! |
Re: Transom hatch covers
Otto,
If you can't get the originals you can use either King Starboard or Seaboard. Seafoam color was a good match for my off white MA. Were the originals FRP or teak? [ November 10, 2003, 08:39 AM: Message edited by: Roger ] |
Re: Transom hatch covers
The originals were fiberglass, molded with the transom radius and flush to the top. That's a tricky project with Starboard, but doable with a good table saw, I suppose. Wood could be a nice feature...
I'm hoping somebody has the originals out there. |
Re: Transom hatch covers
Stick,
Thank you very much for the offer. Your's are definately different and I'm sure they won't work. Somebody might in the future, though. Mark had a great idea. Instead of replacing them, close them altogether and provide access via a round hatch in the forward facing bulkhead. I like it. There's nothing in there that needs a big hatch anyway. I've got a couple of Bose 131's that fit nicely... |
Re: Transom hatch covers
Otto, I have the two that came off my boat and I dont think I'm going to use them.... you an have them if they fit.... what are your dimensions? My boat has a slightly different design then yours were the hatches are.
