Stripe & Decal removal

Anyone have a trick to stripe/decal removal? I'm removing the boot stripe tape and It's going to take 2 lifetimes at this rate. I'm using a heat gun and scraping with a plastic putty knife to get a piece started then sometimes getting lucky with pulling a couple inches before it breaks. With 46 foot of three stripes it's going to take a lot of beer and cussing!

Try "XYLENE"----> a evaporating solvent for specialty coatings and glue. Vapor is strong so wear a mask.

Tom, I used a razor blade scraper type tool that is used to remove inspection stickers from car windows etc. It removed mine very easily. Follow up with a solution such as goo-gone to remove the sticky residue...Toadfish
