spray rails for a 23

Is there a company or place that you can purchase spray rails for seacrafts that resemble those used by seacraft in the 1970s Thanks anybody

Most of the applied spray rails I have seen were custom "one off" installations, and even these were primarily done to older hulls..(Seacraft, Cuda Craft) Personaly I don't believe the 23 needs them. If I'm running a quartering sea and picking up a little spray (rare) I feather the tab on that side and raise it a little till I quit spittin brine.

You guys are in luck! Not only is there a spray rail available, it's a darn good one. Florida Sportsman Magazine had an ad for www.thesmartrail.com. Click on it and check out their website. I have a 15ft palm beach flats boat that was wetter than wet. I mean frigin wet. I put the smartrail on and it is now 80% dryer and the boat no longer pounds. Why do you think all the Key West Guides have them on their boats? They work. The cost for 2 9ft rails was about $285 and you don't have to drill holes in your boat. They glue on. Take it from me, these things will NEVER come off!!!! You can also call the company and talk to the owne/inventor himself. He is very helpful and his son has a 23' SC with rails on it.
