The first 2 coats went on well. Still showing a little white primer. We'll sand and blow on 3 more coats tommorrow.

Great Work Otto-

What color is that and what type of paint?

Re: Getting there...

Trayder,

Thanks. It's Interlux Brightside Sapphire Blue. It's doesn't look as green in real life and I expect it to get much darker as the coats flow on. Not bad for my first try!

Chris,

The new tank is roughly 28" wide x 11" high x 116" long. I'm not sure about the # of baffles, but also expect (2), same as the original.

More images later as we move to the interior with Blu-glo white.

John R,

Thank God for forklifts. We have 2 4000's at this shop. Makes it pretty easy to pick up the boat with straps and set it on the trailer. Not to mention setting that 175 lb. tank into place.

Regards,

Otto

Nice Otto and Salty..... So I'll bring up the 23 and we'll finish it in your shed !!!

How's the tank look ?? Happy with it ?? I was told that they had three baffles in that tank, rather when I asked about an 84" tank, which I thought was alot for that size...you might see the tack welds on the surface where the baffle plates are.....

Sorry Scott. I don't know if I can do another one after this adventure! Very gratifying though to see it finally coming together, or at least getting some color. My wife asked if I had a girlfriend and I told her, her name is Seacraft!!!

Looks good Otto/Saltydog . If the color comes out the same as on the Suzuki web site, she'll be a real head turner.
