Splash Well
 

I bought some Lexan at the Dania flea mkt. Can I use this for the splash well, Its white , already piano hinged . I didn't know the exact size across so I was forced to buy BOTH pieces . whats the best way to hinge it to the deck,so it can be easily removed ? Engine cowl hinges ?

Last time I made one of those, I used SS piano hinge and some SS pin type latches. You can use just about any hinges that you want to but I thought the piano hinges looked best. A buddy of mine used some hinges that he had gotten off of one of his old hatches that he had laying around and used those for his. He wanted to be able to through bolt them. They worked just as well....

Personal preference I guess...
