Stringers and inner liner

Does any one know if or how the stringers bond to the inner liner (deck)? On my 23 twin i/o, they only seem to be attached by roven in the engine well. Could this be right??

Finster,

On my 77 sceptre, The liner is not attached to the stringers. A bedding compound is squirted on the stringers, and the whole deck liner is dropped down on it.

Why won't this show the photo?

Jim, is that only in the engine well? My problem is someone else started this boat and I don't know what is or isn't. What I think is they tried to get the liner out and failed. There is no damage from what I see so far, the only thing is they cut through the roven in the motor box.....no big deal if thats it......??

The compound is used throughout the boat. Next time I go back there, I’ll try to take some photos.
