Whats up Otto? Get your Merc sorted out?
O.K., so is either one of these beauties yours? I assume that the application is the same on a center console. Do you happen to know how they performed AB (after bracket).

Hey,

I've had those images on my screensaver for 6 months thinking about putting the Seamark bracket on the #2 Project SeaCraft (SC2) with a Ficht 175. Maybe 2005. In the meantime, I've been conceptualizing a pilothouse for the 23CC, which is painted and only needs assembly. The one Hermco makes is too wide for a 23. Finster thinks Don will custom built one. There's a few honeydews to do at home before I can finish #1 Project SeaCraft (SC1).

Believe it or not I managed to make the 2 and a half hour drive to the Thousand Island region of the St. Lawrence River in Northern New York 9 weekends in a row. I managed with the help of some good friends to learn a little about the teriffic freshwater fishing in that area. Small and Largemouth Bass, Pike and Muskie. The Muskies are intriguing. Keepers are like, 42”. I’m a fast learner…

The new Whaler 6’ Dauntless was a godsend. Perfect little pocket rocket and already a proven fish raiser. The recall lower unit goes on this week and I’m hopeful that it will resolve the stubborn shifter.

All in all, an excellent summer.

Finster,

I'm focused on selling the Carver 325 so I can consentrate on small boats in general. The 20 Seafari is a very cool boat and when I win the lottery, I'll let Don put on the bracket and do it right. The blue one above is my dream.

Re: Seamark on a 20'

I've got a ? on the Hermco bracket. The way I understand it, it is a bracket that also closes off the transom, right?
But what do you guys do with the old splashwell/floor?
You would need to do some glassing anyway to fix that up so why not just glass the whole transom while you're at it?
I'm just wondering since someday I might close mine in.
Otto - I've been thinking about a pilothouse type
too, are there any pics avail. of a pilothouse setup that you know of.
Bill
