1/2" U- bolt - where to buy ?

I need (2) 1/2" U bolts to replace the ones on the stern of my boat.

Cannot find them anywhere ( and I have looked )!

Any idea?

Most marine surplus stores down here have the for around $8.00 Heres a nice one on E-bay, a little pricy though. If you can't find the regular ones give me a shout and I'll try and pick up a couple for you.

Yeah, I saw that one on Ebay. I emailed the guy to get a few more measurements on it - no response yet.

Perko sells this thing for $40 a pop !!!! That seems exhorbitant ! If you see the 1/2" transom U bolts for the price you say - and they are quality, like something you would put on your boat, - then, please buy them for me and I will very quickly reimburse you - or I'll pay you 1st and then buy 'em.

Get back to me sooner than later as I will bid on them on E bay if I must..

I just replaced mine and got SEACHOICE brand at my hardware store $15 ea. Land N' Sea distributes that line. Make sure you get the Stern ones because they have a wider backing plate than the Bow loop.

If one is good then 2 is better!

Bill, THANKS. I just ordered the (2) U bolts via Land'N Sea. They are exactly what I was looking for and at a fair price.

I shit you not, West Marine said they would have to special order them @ $40 a pc ! I pd $32 shipped for the two !

You saved me some $ Thx.
