Marinium hinges for Sceptre/Tsunami
 

Hey guys. Looking to where I might get 1-2 of the small marinium hinges that are located on the (2)aft hatches on the stern of the boat.

Any suggestions ? One of mine is cracked and I need a replacement.

Hard to find, I was looking for a long time as well. Finally buffed out the ones I had and used over.

It's a shame, but I just bought (2) pair of TACO ss hinges that will fit the exact holes ( lucky me ). Trying to keep her as atock as possible. All else is marinium. Which is more of a premium pc of hardware - marinium or good quality ss ?

By the way, I am impressed w/ TACO's quality of ss....

IMO good SS looks nicer than marinium.

BUT understand your desire to get original replacement parts...
Plus .... Some of the marinium that came off the boat had/created horrible corrosion issues.... Two of the rod holder were "eaten" right through...and a few broken hinges [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img] Alot of that could have been prevented with a little fresh water [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img]

Isn't it sad .... I mean its only 23 feet long !!! the Viking I used to work on was a meticulously clean boat [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] .... We always ALWAYS had time to get freshwater on it and chamois it AT THE VERY LEAST... But that’s why that boat looked showroom new all the time… I really feel the freshwater & chamois had a lot to do with it....Oh yeah ....and don’t dare get your neighbors boat wet while cleaning yours !!! [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img]

Especially when squirtting off the fish guts and squid chunks [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img] [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
