Wanted 20-23 Hull

Looking for an older Seacraft, preferably a 20SF/MA, needing some repairs but not a total rework as I want to use boat during the season and repair/upgrade off season. Prefer without engine and in the Northeast (I'm also cheap ).

Re: Wanted 20-23 Hull

Hammer - I figure if it's a New England boat - it'll be white... If I'm travelin' south, it could be any pastel color . You see, cars are the opposite of boats, up here you'll see any color car but white - the boats on the other hand are all white, but down in FLA, all the cars are white and the boat hulls are every color of the rainbow ...

BTW - How did you find your boat??

Thanks,

John

Re: Wanted 20-23 Hull

What I do (did) is punch in the word SeaCraft on every search engine I could think of. Then I started to try other spellings: sea craft, seakraft,Sea craft, seaCraft...I was surprised
that I would see all kinds of spelling.I do know
where a one owner '76 20' MA is. (white)but the
guy wants $10000 plus for it.

GOOD LUCK!!

HI JOHN,
I FOUND MY 20' MA AND THE YAM ON BOAT TRADER.COM
YOU CAN FIND THE RIGHT BOAT AND HAVE IT TRAILERED
TO THE NORTH EAST. YACHTWORLD.COM IS ALSO GOOD.
GOOD LUCK!

Yeh - I've been looking there again - no problem if I want a sailbote...

Question for you - roughly how much to have one brought up as opposed to going down to get it or renting a U-Haul one way???

Thanks,

John

John, one thing about boattrader is the spelling, they have 2 seacraft lists sea craft, and seacraft. You probably already noticed this - one has a lot more than the other.

John- One up on the comment Chris made on Boattrader.com. When you have the option to select the type of boat (ie. power, sail, ect.)go for the "sail" option. Because of the Pacific Sea Craft sailboat, there are as many Seacraft power boats incorrectly put in the sailboat section as get put in the correct power boat section. That is where I found my 18 footer. Good Luck!

Snookered-

Welcome to the forum and the Web-Site. Do you have any pics of your 18? I would be more than happy to post pics and a description of your boat on this site if your are interested.

How do you like the 18? I like your boat very much I think it is the best looking 18 afloat, Does yours have the "high" console? So many questions for you.
