insane 20' seacraft w/ twin 2.3l Mercs on bracket
I dont know if anyone here has ever seen this, but I was on my way to the keys last summer and I saw a 20' seacraft, all redone with a Bracket and , get this, twin 2.3L racing Mercs. I thought I was going crazy so I did a Uturn and checked it out. It was a totally redone 20' seacraft,( I know the boat, because I had just sold the 20 that I had redone) they had enclosed the transom and put a bracket on it w/ Jack Plates and the works. It was set up w/ a Center console and leaning post. I never saw it again, but It scares me to think about how fast this thing does.
I have a 23' w/ twin 175s, it gets up to 50+. I cannot imagine a 20 with more horsepower than that. By the way, my 23' is for sale. Mark Seckinger |
Re: insane 20' seacraft w/ twin 2.3l Mercs on bracket
this spring at the toll booth for the sunshine skyway bridge (goes across tampa bay) i spotted a 20 seacraft that looked to have twin merc outboards, light grey in color i think. i was like 4 lanes away and got caught up in traffic ahead of this rig and couldn't get a better look. i know it was a 20 seacraft, but with twin's! my only thought was HOLYSH!T.

Re: insane 20' seacraft w/ twin 2.3l Mercs on bracket
Spotted the mysterious 20 footer with twin 2.5 mercs. Both engines on jack plates. Thought I saw 4 blade props. Would like to ask some questions like top end, how the hull takes this kind of power, and what how does she sit with this kind of weight on the rear. This boat doesnt seem to practical.....BUT IT SURE WOULD BE ENTERTAINING TO RIDE!! ANYONE SEES THIS GUY TELL HIM ABOUT OUR SITE!
