Hey John, nice looking rig but I wonder why a 1999 boat would be sporting a 1998 motor?

Is the closed transom custom. Didn't think you could get the new ones with a bracket. May not be a 99?

I inquired about this boat a while back. The owner said it was actually registered as an Oceanpro and there were 20 of them built with the bracket. He said he personally helped build the boat. The bottom line I think is that it was not manufactured by Seacraft but was a spin-off of the hull done by a small manufacturer. If it will truly run 50 then it is probably much lighter than the old or the new ones. But it sure looks nice with the bracket and all the cockpit space.

I've gone to see this boat,it's not even close to new condition. The motor look's the same. The hull is a plug off an old seacraft, that's been intergrated with a bracket. Construction look's O.K.,but,,,,,it's definitly not a seacraft. Look,it's a bird,it's a plane,it's a ,,,,,,,duck????? Oh well - one of those too good to be true, eh?

I wish these friekin' people would say "like the seacraft" instead of the actual boat... There was a couple decent boats on trader inclusing a short money inboard - you see that one?

YES I DID,I CAN'T MAKE THE INBOARD WORK FOR ME .STILL ON THE HUNT FOR SOMETHING REBUILDABLE THAT STARTED IT'S LIFE AS A CENTER CONSOLE,I/O OR OUTBOARD. I KNOW OF ONE THAT WILL HIT THE TRADER IN THE NEXT ISSUE. THE ONLY THING ABOUT IT THAT'S WORTH ANYTHING IS THE HULL,BUT THE GUY THAT HAS IT THINK,S HE'LL GET $13K. I'M SURE HE'LL GET SOME LOOKER'S,BUT 99.9% ARE GOING TO CONSIDER THERE DRIVE A WASTE OF TIME.THE MOTOR'S ARE JUNK,1984 140 RUDE'S,THAT I WOULDN'T TRUST TO GET ME ACROSS MY POOL. MUCH LESS ANYWHERE ELSE. THE WIRERING IS NOT QUITE AS GOOD AS THE MOTOR'S.
ANYHOW,IF HE DOESN'T CATCH SOME DOPE I'LL GET TO MAKE A RUN AT HIM FOR SOMETHING A LITTLE MORE REASONABLE.JEEZ I DO RUN ON,TIME TO GO TO THE FRIDGE.THANK'S FOR THE HEAD'S UP JOHN.
