Judge yachts MD

Anyone know if these are quality boats? The web sight, www.judgeyachts.com, does'nt give too many construction details. Are they price boats?

End,
I have a buddy who works for them. He has been in the boat business for over 25 years and he claims the are overbuilt the way the old fiberglass( Hatteras) boats are, maybe not to the extreme, of the 60's and early 70's models.
His name is Karl Kirchoff, email info@judgeyachts.com Tell him JW sent ya.

The odffshore boat looks sexy, as well as their downeaster's.
Hope this helps,
JW

Endeavour,
There are a couple of guys on tidalfish.com's cheaspeake board that own them. I think you'll have to register to post, but they will give you first hand expirience regaurding the builder...

thanks guys. it'll be tough to resist ordering one of those 27' bear bone hulls and finishing it myself, particularly because these 23-25 SC re-fit hulls are so darn hard to find now. 4 years ago I found three 20' cc hulls in CT in one day, all decent and under $6k, the only problem was deciding which one. Eastern also looks like a nice hull. the light weight of all these boats scares me a little though, I'm definately old school: heavier=better ride.
