has anyone seen/heard anything about the OMC (Suzuki) outboards? I've heard that it is the same product with a different paint job but have yet to hear a comparison when it comes to price.

Specifically the Johnson brand. They have them on their website and all the specs are the same, including the length of warranty.

Suzuki is offering an extended warranty or cash back deal through the end of March. Only glitch in that is the fact that the state of Florida is excluded from the extended warranty - you have only the cash back incentive down there (must be due to people having nice enough weather to fish more and therefore a bit risky for them to offer six years of warrantied non-stop fishing [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] ).

I've been looking at the 250 ficht with the 7 year warranty but the price tag is up there 14800.0 + tax+ rigging your looking at 17000.00 thats incredible.
