SAIL FISHING IN MIAMI
I WENT OUT SATURDAY FOR MY WEEKEND FISHING TRIP OUT OF MIAMI. SEA’S WERE 4-6 FT. WITH A OCCASIONAL CROWD PLEASER. THAT WAS THE ROUGHEST DAY I’VE BEEN OUT ON THE BOAT SO FAR ALTHOUGH I HAVE BEEN OUT IN 3-5 FOOTERS A FEW TIMES BEFORE. THE BOAT HANDLED JUST FINE ACTUALLY BETTER THAN I, AFTER 6 HRS OF THAT STUFF MY BODY HAD ENOUGH. I COUGH ONE SAIL FISH AND ONE OK SIZE KING FISH. THE SAIL WAS THE BEST FIGHTING SAIL I EVER CAUGHT WE HAD TO CHASE HIM FOR ABOUT ½ HR OR HE WOULD HAVE SPOOLED ME. THAT’S ABOUT THE TENTH SAIL IN THE BOAT SINCE I SPLASHED IT LAST SUMMER. I HAVE BEEN A LITTLE UNEASY POSTING A FISHING REPORT DOWN HERE WHEN I READ ABOUT SNOW BLOWERS NOT WORKING UP NORTH BUT I FIGURED I WOULD ANYWAY. WEATHER DOWN HERE IS GREAT I FISHED IN SHORTS AND A T-SHIRT SATURDAY. HOPE YOU GUYS GET A EARLY FISHING SEASON UP THERE.

FS, thanks for not rubbing it in. I finaly got dug out and my back is killing me and my neighbor is out of beer But at least someone is getting on with some good fishing.
Does anyone know if chest pains and seeing spots is a bad thing.......where's my smokes? |
Re: SAIL FISHING IN MIAMI
That depends on what you’re smoking

Re: SAIL FISHING IN MIAMI
Sorry I'm late I was busy chipping the ice off of by back gutters to try to keep the water from coming in any more than it already is I was out there on the ladder with my hammer and chisel trying to think of summer. To much snow, even with a snowblower you still end up tired with a sore back. At least we didn't get what you guys in Jersey and Long Island got, I feel bad for you guys. Spring is on the way! at least thats what I keep telling myself. I think the boat show this weekend will help

Re: SAIL FISHING IN MIAMI
John, let's just go and take his boat. I bring tackle and beer (gotta check with neighbor first about beer) I'm sure we'll have a few more takers before were threw.
Ya know, last year this time I was just gearing up for bass fishing. I think my boat was in first week of March. I don't think I'm gonna make that time line this year. Only kidding about the chest pains. The spots go back to the early eighties thing.
