Ocean City Tuna
 

Does anyone know Capt. Rich Schott from Ocean City Md? I am flying up from Fla to go tuna fising on 9/20. The boat may have an opening Sunday if anyone is interested. Are they catching tuna now?

I run a Hatteras, Banhsee, out of Fishermans marina, just down the street from the fishing center. I am booked that day. However I dont think Rich actually runs the boat, Volcania I Think , Marstan does. He is a good captain.The tuna fishing has been OK the Bluefins, about 80 to 125 have been around for chunking, BLT yellowfins trolling, there has been a decent white marlin bite offshore, at least last week.
Stop by my rig for a cold one on friday, I am on the third pier, across from Crab alley, on Golf course road, 2 lights before the fishing center.

Brian,
I guess the Hurricane wiped out your trip. The good news is the tuna are jumping in the boat now. I think the fish that have been in NC all summer have moved north. I can't fish due to other obligations this weekend but will be going out 29th and 30th. Then off to Cicinnati to pivck up my wifes new boat, then fishing the week of october 6 thru the 11th.
