Gettin' outta this damn cold!
 

Well boys, tomorrow at 12:30pm I'll be on my way to San Juan P.R. to catch a cruise ship. Ahhhh, I can just taste the tropical cocktail I'll be sipping on deck as we pull away from the dock. I've booked a fishing charter in Barbados, so hopefully I'll have some good pics to post when I get back.

Well, it was nice to be in the warm weather while the rest of the northeast lived through record-low temps this past week, but back to reality. The Barbados fishing charter was a bust, not even a knockdown! Trolling a 5 line spread with ballyhoo in 400-1,000+ feet couldn't even muster a strike from a wahoo. The rest of the cruise was excellent - Casa de Campo (part of the Dominican Republic), Antigua, Grenada, and St Thomas were all nice.

If anyone is thinking of a cruise, I highly recommend Celebrity and their ship Constellation. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding.
